What do you need
Ingredients for 2 persons
Ingredients for 1 person:
- 140 g water
- 70 g whole wheat pasta
- 30 g pureed plum tomatoes
- 10 g fresh Tropea onion or 20 g if dehydrated
- 15 g Parmesan cheese
- 5 g extra virgin olive oil
- 3 g whole salt
- 6 pitted Taggiasca olives
- Fresh basil as required
- Chilli to taste
Useful tools:
- 500 ml Weck jars
Star Column Equipment:
- Ultracombi
- Blast chiller

Preparation
First put the pasta in a 500 ml jar and then add double the weight of cold water and all the ingredients except for the Parmesan cheese. Mix everything and close the jar after cleaning its edge with kitchen paper.
Microwave cooking
Set the microwave (or the Ultracombi in microwave mode) to 800 W and insert the jar. If you want to prepare several portions, only one jar at a time must be inserted. After 3 minutes, remove the jar from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes, during which time the pasta will complete the cooking cycle.
Plating
Add a generous serving of grated Parmesan cheese, fresh basil and a drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil. Serve the pasta directly in the jar.
Storage
The individual portion of whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce can be stored in the fridge for 7 days.
